WHO WE ARE
In 1976, the Şimşek brothers opened their first greengrocery shop in Aliağa. What began as a family business soon grew into a passion for ship supply. They recognised the opportunity to serve vessels berthed nearby, laying the foundations for Simsekler General Ship Chandlers & Ship Repair Inc.
Today, we serve all Turkish ports, the Istanbul Bosphorus and Çanakkale Dardanelles straits, and the shipyards of Tuzla and Yalova. With 50 years of experience and the support of our family and employees, we bring continuity, care and local knowledge to every port call.
Since the beginning, our services have brought together ship supplies, ship repair and green ship recycling. Our diverse product portfolio helps us meet the needs of vessels and their crews through one team.
We continue to improve our technology and ways of working to maintain high, competitive standards. Our experience in ship supply guides a focus on practical solutions, internal digitalisation and support throughout the customer journey.

Since 1976, we have provided repair, maintenance and technical services for the marine and offshore industries, covering hull, deck, engine, bridge and cargo equipment.
Our engineers, technical specialists and contractor network support vessels at Turkish ports and shipyards around the clock. We also arrange pre-purchase inspections, condition surveys, technical superintendence and consultancy, with original spare parts used for repairs.
We arrange underwater inspection, cleaning and repair services at Turkish ports through experienced, trained contractors certified by IACS member classification societies.
The scope ranges from CCTV inspections and hull cleaning to propeller, rudder and stern seal repairs, including temporary and permanent underwater interventions.
We store, consolidate and transport ship spares and marine equipment for vessels at Turkish ports and straits.
From order collection and customs clearance to onboard delivery, our logistics services include worldwide freight, shipment tracking, temperature-controlled storage and emergency support.
We offer fumigation and treatment services for marine and offshore facilities, ships, trucks and containers in accordance with international standards.
Services cover accommodation, cargo holds and agricultural commodities, together with pest control and the treatment and certification of wooden packaging under ISPM 15.
We support cruise vessels calling at Türkiye’s ports with ship supply services delivered by our experienced team.
Our cruise supply approach responds to the timing and location of each call, with attention to international standards and the requirements of a sector that connects maritime trade with tourism.
We supply food, beverages, marine and offshore equipment and spare parts across the Mediterranean, Aegean, Black Sea and Marmara Sea.
Our scope includes PSV, AHTS, CSV, DSV and SSBV vessels, oil rigs and platforms, as well as drilling, cable-laying, seismic and firefighting vessels. Support also includes catering and victualing management, accommodation ashore and crew boat rental.
We represent Turkish shipyards, dry docks and repair companies carrying out scheduled and emergency repairs, general maintenance and technical services.
We help shipowners find a repair yard suited to their requirements and provide husbandry and agency services throughout the vessel’s dry-docking period in Türkiye.
We provide inspection, maintenance, repair and reporting for firefighting, lifesaving and safety equipment, together with the supply of certified safety products and spare parts.
Our safety specialists, contracted service stations and manufacturer-authorized workshops support these services, with trained personnel certified by IACS member classification societies and working to flag-state requirements.
We prepare cargo holds and tanks for their next cargo, using environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals.
Alongside hold and tank cleaning, our services include gas freeing, surface preparation and painting, cleaning labour and laundry.
We provide marine and industrial equipment for short- and long-term projects at Turkish ports and straits, according to your operational requirements.
The rental range includes road vehicles, lifting equipment, marine craft, generators and containers. Equipment is maintained regularly and documented with reports and certificates.

A complete range of fresh, frozen and dry provisions, sourced internationally to balance quality and value. We supply crews of different nationalities and arrange regularly required specialist products on request.
Our transit warehouse brings together covered and open storage, dedicated provision areas and frozen-food storage. Fruit, vegetables and dairy products are purchased and delivered daily from the market.

Fresh water. An essential part of every voyage.
We supply fresh water for drinking and sanitary use through purpose-equipped water barges. Their tanks and equipment support the safe storage and delivery of fresh water to vessels.
The water barges are equipped with modern systems, with tanks designed to meet international standards and health requirements.
